Family
My loyalty, faith, stability, and my foundation. My family is how I want to live family life.
Language, Culture, Tradition, & LandWe must keep our language and ceremonies alive. We must pass on our traditions, our culture, our tradition, and our language to our future generations to thrive as people. Though if we let go of the old wisdom, we let go of who we are and we are no longer. To know where you are going, you have to know where you've been. We are connected to our ancestral lands. That is our story as caretakers of Mother Earth. For our future generations to come its our responsibility to protect our water, air and land that is life.

Teachings and EducationMy siblings and I were always taught as children the importance of learning and passing our tradition, our culture, our heritage, and our native language. We were told creation stories that were as old as our tribes. We were taught to respect our elders and to live in harmony with the earth. To remain our identity, we must continue to embrace the teaching of our ancestors. If we fail our unique way of life, we will cease to exist as Native Americans, the natural and spiritual world will cease to recognize us. We will have forsaken our original instructions that were given to us by the creator.
